This is a wedding present for one of my best friends who's mad about Buffy.
As am I.

I've been working on this for the last four weeks with an interruption as I was on holiday in Cornwall this past week. Which was lovely as summer decided to actually turn up. So it was extremely hot and there were beaches and sea. Yay!

So yes, many many hours as I wanted this to be as good as I could get it and it's the first time I've really finished something and been almost 100% satisfied.

And I did a proper border and everything.

Wacom, Paintshop Pro, Photoshop and the poster on my wall for reference.

Stunning. You don't need to worry about acting on criticisms, there's so little to criticize. Sarah Michelle Gellar's face is very hard to render artistically, owing to so many soft angles and so few real lines, but you've captured her phenomenally well. If I didn't know this was a painting, I'd swear it was an airbrushed piece of promo art for Buffy. It's that realistic.
