Ahh... so long between submissions.
I blame Guild Wars, it's way too addictive and I've not been doing much of my own stuff lately.
Although saying that, this is another work piece, specifically requested. Started at 6:30am this morning and finished at 11:34pm.
My eyes hurt but I'm really pleased with this, so I consider the pain worthwhile.
Am in an extremely good mood due to getting my hair cut because it was ridiculously long and I was tired of sitting on it. Now it is a reasonable length and I will no longer find random cats attached to it when I leave the house.
So yeah, I blather. Uma Thurman.. Pulp Fiction, classic image. Planning on doing something "Kill Bill-Esque" next because I feel like it.

The picture is fantastic. The thumbnail looked like a photograph and the enlargement looks like a very fine painting. But I am interested in what you used to create it. Did you do it on the computer or with drawomg amd painting freehand. The proportions and lighting are reallly fine. I would like to be able to do that. Again it is a reallly masterful picture.. I love it.
This piece is a vector, using paths to create infinitely scalable shapes which make up the entire image. I generally use Photoshop because I'm too poor to afford Adobe Illustrator, the program that most other people use.
Vectoring is really fun and if you're working in the printing industry it's really useful as everything can be resized up/down without any loss of quality. It's also a style that lends itself well to the "pop-art" genre.
Wow, a Kill Bill shot would be a GREAT vector! Maybe something of her in the yellow, blood-spattered jumpsuit? Well, of course, what am I thinking? lol
By the way, this is GREAT! I love Uma Thurman, I think she's an absolute goddess. Fave!
