Ricochet - when something rebounds.
Sometimes it comes back unexpectedly. Vectored over the last four days. Many thanks to the wonderful Original image here: [link] Many thanks for looking. --------------------------------------------------------- EDIT: Whoah!! Certainly didn't expect (or really deserve) a DD for this, but thank you! A few people have asked, so I'll explain here to make things easier, and to save my poor weary fingers extra typing. 1) It's a Vector, not a photomanip. If you don't know what "Vectored" art is, check out this link [link] for a really good explanation. 2) It takes a long time, I'm still learning, there are some amazing vector artists here on DA and if you want to learn how to do it browse here, gain inspiration and practice! Many of these artists have some really good tutorials as well, much better than any I could come up with. 3) I use Photoshop, because I am poor and do not have Illustrator. Some people will argue that Photoshop rasterises images and Vectors created in Photoshop are therefore, not "true" Vectors. My response to that is, people enjoy arguing and if I can resize this image so it's as big as the side of my house without losing quality, then Photoshop is an adequate program for Vectoring with. 4) I like to ramble, I have three cats, my middle name begins with L but isn't "Lawrence" and right now I'm quite hungry. Thank you again. Daily DeviationGiven 2007-04-07Ricochet by ~demonika. This is a crisp vector with details to boot. (Suggested by =purplerose and Featured by `Einion) |
